World Cyber Security Forum (WCSF) is an emerging online platform exclusive to world cyber news and is continuously working towards spreading awareness to let the common masses know about their cyber well being and the kinds of security threats that could turn lethal. We deliver unbiased information along with a blend of original content.
WCSF has taken their agenda of spreading cyber awareness seriously. We organized a series of events such as that of a quiz on Information Technology Act, 2000. The quiz was a part of WCSF’s Cyber Crime Awareness Program initiative of the year 2020. This quiz was student specific. Anyone could apply. Those who were interested had to register themselves. The last day of registration was May 28, 2020. The quiz was held on May 30, 2020.
Due to the peak of coronavirus, the quiz was held on an online platform. There were a total of 30 questions. Three sets of ten questions each were formed of easy, moderate and difficult category. Each question carried 2-marks. Participants were given about forty seconds each to answer the questions. If one failed to do so, there would be an automatic transfer to the next question in line. Those who score more in the difficulty level will get a higher rank preference.
The top three scorers get a certificate of merit along with prize money of Rs. 800 for the winner, Rs. 500 for 1st Runner-Up and Rs. 300 for the 2nd Runner- Up. Top ten scorers get a merit of certificate. While every participant gets a certificate of participation.
The glorious winner of the quiz was Gunjeet Kaur, who is also a Writer and Editors Committee member at WCSF.
